Twitter Art Exhibition 2018

It’s that time of year again … and for the sixth year running I will have artwork at this year’s Twitter Art Exhibition. The opening sale will take place tomorrow, Saturday 7th April at 2pm and the show will run until 29th April at Strathnairn Arts Gallery, Canberra, Australia.

These 16cm x 12cm postcard artworks will be for sale at $48AUD each, $130AUD for 3 and $170AUD for 4, with 100% of sales going to this year’s charity, Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT Inc, Canberra. After the exhibition remaining unsold artworks will also be available for sale online. Fingers crossed ‘Look into my Eyes’ will sell, so I can help this wonderful cause.

Blink Again

Faber Castell Polychromos on Bristol Board 12cm x 11.5cm

Since I started using coloured pencils 4 years ago, I have been wanting to draw this portrait again, so here is the finished drawing of Blink.  With thanks to Naomi for the use of the reference photo.

Work in Progress

Back to the drawing board …

Blink – wip

I first drew this cat 6 years ago but in graphite.  I have been wanting to draw it in coloured pencils, so this is where I am this afternoon.  Using Faber Castell Polychromos on Bristol Board.

‘Look into my Eyes’

Faber Castell Polychromos on Bristol Board 16cm x 12cm

Here she is all finished! This little drawing is on it’s way to Canberra, Australia as my donation for 2018 Twitter Art Exhibition 7th – 29th April. All proceeds of these postcard size artworks will go to this year’s charity – Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT Inc (Pegasus ACT), who provide horse facilitated therapy programs and activities for people living with a disability. I am hoping it will be the 6th year running that my artwork sells at the exhibition, fingers crossed!
